their speed is good until peek business hours (8AM-10AM) and (3PM-6PM) - during those hours the T1 speed is cut in half if not more
Other Thoughts:
they say the T1 bandwidth is dedicated, but it is shared down the trunk line, that is for sure!

Cons:
It seems that I'm the only one who have Verizon T1 in NYC. They told me they have a strong and fast network. Now I'm struggling to keep my business open due to their slow and Expensive T1. If you are in NYC area and need a T1 do not go with Verizon.
Other Thoughts:
I run an internet cafe. I regret going for verizon. I recently went to shop around for other T1s. almost all of them are offering T1-bonded and its price is nearly the same as what i'm paying for my verizon T1!!! The reason customers stay is because i have Superb customer service but i'm seeing them less and less because my internet is not fast enough. Please do not even look at Verizon when it comes to shopping for a T1 or higher

i paid a premium because i was promised an always up connection. not only was it not up, but it would go down for hours at a time and their support was horrific

look to another company. we are with XO now and love them.
